It's quite a hardy plant, being tolerant to all soil types- though it cannot be planted in very wet sites.

When your Wild Privet plant is delivered, make sure you plant the bare root as soon as you can. You should not leave it for any longer than a couple of days, or so, and do not let the roots dry out.̴Ì?
