Green Gooseberries are one of the most popular, well-known varieties, best loved for its easy-to-grow, hardy nature.
About Bare Root Green Gooseberry
the tough Gooseberry Invicta plant produces big, light-green gooseberries, which have a delicious, sweet flavour and nice, smooth skin. This plant has nearly double the amount of crop than any other gooseberry variety, making it a real favourite! It is the ideal plant for cooking or just eaten straight of the bush.̴Ì?
It will reach an ultimate height and spread of 1.5m x 1m in good conditions.
Key Features
Make sure you plant your Green Gooseberry plant in full sun, and in well-draining, slightly acidic soil- it will tolerate pretty much any soil, elsewise. Ensure you also water very well during dry periods and apply some Rootgrow each Spring. Your plants must be placed 1.5m apart.

Pruning & Care
As this is a bare root plant, soak the roots for at least 2 hours before planting, after they arrive. Plant as soon as you can. If the ground is frozen, place into a temporary pot that's filled with decent compost- once conditions have improved, move the̴Ì?gooseberry plant to the ground.
Keep the plant well-watered during dry weather.̴Ì?
Simply prune your Gooseberry bush every year in the Spring to maintain its shape. We also recommend mulching in Autumntime with some well-rotted compost (i.e., leaf mould or manure), too.
