Crab Apple hedging will bring colour, life, and style to your garden with its blossoms of flowers and fruits every year. The stunning, summery flowers are popular with the bees, and the edible crab apples make delicious jellies! We highly recommend picking these miniature, sour, green-yellow apples just after the first frost.

Don't forget- you must plant your Crab Apple Bare Roots as soon as you can after they're delivered. Do not leave the plant for any longer than a couple of days (in which they must stay moist during this time).

Your Crab Apple plant can reach an ultimate height of 5m and will look amazing if planted as part of a native hedge- but you can plant as a single specimen, too, of course.

When your bare root Crab Apple arrives, place it straight into a bucket of water for around 2 hours, or more. The roots must be wet before planted. Ensure you also keep the plant moist during its development- do not let it become waterlogged, however.

Stick to pruning your plant around twice a year- first off in the cold days of Spring, then later in the early Winter. Make sure there are no chances of frosts arriving, and that the plant is dormant, too.
