Wester Red Cedar displays striking sprays of glossy, dark-green, conifer foliage, with a sweet, pineapple-like scent when crushed between the fingers. Due to its dense nature, it's the perfect, enticing, conifer hedge for any garden surrounding heavy traffic (as it has the ability to successfully absorb surrounding pollution particles).̴Ì?

Thuja plicata 'Atrovirens' can also produce little cones, but these are a little insignificant as the plant is best loved for its rich, dense leaves. The tall stature will easily provide a perfect background to any small, colourful plants that need a plant friend to help them stand out!
