Golden Privet's creamy-white, summer flowers complement its bright green, variegated leaves, perfectly. The plant is tolerant to pollution, too, making it the ideal choice for both suburban and urban based gardens- though it can grow in pretty much any site, if it's not very wet.̴Ì?

Golden Privet is a little less hardy than Green privet, so it is best to clip to a traditional, dense hedge where possible.̴Ì?

Please note: The leaves on Ligustrum ovalifolium 'Aureum' are harmful if eaten, and as this is a bare root plant, you may notice some defoliation after its planted (but you're not to worry, as it will recover by Spring).̴Ì?

Make sure you plant your Golden Privet as soon as possible after it arrives, as the roots cannot dry out- the plant will not survive.̴Ì?

When you receive your Golden Privet Bare Root plant, place it straight into a bucket of water for at least 2 hours. This will ensure the roots are moist before planting. You will also need to continually water the plant throughout its development- but do not let it become waterlogged.̴Ì?

Trim your Golden Privet regularly throughout the growing season- meaning it will need to be done about 2 or 3 times during the Summer. This will encourage a dense, bushy plant development over the years.̴Ì?
