The Photinia Red Robin is the perfect hedge to provide you with a year-round interest in your garden. Popping up intricate, little, white flowers, along with bold, scarlet leaves in Spring that change to an intense dark green in Winter, the Red Robin will heartily attract attention in your garden.

Best yet, wildlife are attracted to the Photinia x fraseri for its flowers and red berries, that burst through from autumn to winter.

The Photinia x fraseri has an average growth rate of 30cm per year, and you can easily maintain it up to the height of 4m. We do not recommend the Red Robin where extra privacy is needed; due to the fact It is not a particularly dense hedge.

This 20/30cm potted Photinia Red Robin plant has an average growth rate but will reach above 2.5m tall when planted in good conditions.

The Photinia Red Robin generally prefers a sunny home; however, it will still grow well in partial shade, and a well-drained soil is best to enable it to exceedingly thrive. It is a frost-resilient plant, but young plants must be protected in the winter. The Red Robin may have the occasional leaf drop, meaning you will need to carefully prune back, and applying a slow-release fertiliser during Spring is recommended.
