15/20cm Pot Grown Spindle 'Harlequin'
(Euonymus fortunei 'Harlequin')

*Special Offer*

Euonymus 'Harlequin' is a dwarf, semi-evergreen shrub with unusual, specked foliage. It will often hold onto most of its leaves, however, during̴Ì?very cold weather, it̴Ì?may drop a few of its leaves (but not to worry as plenty of fresh foliage will appear in spring!).

It can make the perfect gap-filler, as a low-growing hedge, or even as a single, potted specimen on your patio to add a lovely bit of colour and interest.

Euonymus 'Harlequin' can grow in any soil, as long as it is well-draining. It is a hardy little plant that can be planted in both full sun or partial shade.

  • Growth height: Slow (10-20cm per year)
  • Ideal height: 0.5-1m Small
  • Soil type: Any well-draining soil
  • Exposure: Exposed or sheltered
  • Aspect: Partial shade, full sun
  • Evergreen foliage? Semi-evergreen

Be sure to tip-prune your Euonymus 'Harlequin' from mid-late spring to encourage plenty of new, bushy growth. We also highly recommend applying plenty of mulch (about 2-3"), i.e. compost, at the base of the plant after pruning. Ensure any plain green shoots are cut back as soon as they appear, too.
