Wild Privet's creamy-white flowers appear in Spring and are loved by the birds and butterflies. Though they are edible to birds etc., the leaves and flowers are harmful if eaten.̴Ì?

It's quite a hardy plant, being tolerant to all soil types- though it cannot be planted in very wet sites.

Root Ball̴Ì?Wild Privet̴Ì?hedging is only available to buy and plant throughout November - March, but can be pre-ordered at any time outside of the bare root season.

This̴Ì?60/90cm root ball Wild Privet plant has an average growth rate but can grow up to 4m+ tall when planted in good conditions.

You will need to prune your Wild Privet plant regularly throughout Summer. Make sure you stop pruning by the end of Summer, however, as you don't want to risk frost damaging the new shoots.̴Ì?
