(40/50cm Pot Grown)

Rhododendron 'Madame Masson' is one of the original favourites, being an old, reliable, hardy plant with gorgeous, white blooms. Find out more

Rhododendron 'Madame Masson' produces gorgeous, pristine white flowers with gold-yellow centres, near the end of Spring/beginning of Summer. It's a highly reliable plant too, with its tough, evergreen nature, making it perfect for screening or hedging.

Plus, it's even been awarded a Garden Merit by RHS!

We recommend planting in light shade, and in well-draining, slightly acidic soil. If planted in good conditions, it can reach an ultimate height and spread of 2.5m x 2.5m.̴Ì?

  • Growth rate: Fast (40-60cm per year)
  • Ideal height: 2.5m+ Tall
  • Soil type: Clay, loam, sand, acidic̴Ì?
  • Exposure: Sheltered
  • Aspect: Full sun, semi-shade
  • Evergreen foliage? Yes

You should not need to prune your Rhododendron 'Madame Masson' at all- you will only need to remove the spent flowers and cut away any dead/diseased branches, where necessary. This must be done in late Spring when the flowering has finished.

Once you've finished pruning, place a bit of Rhododendron or Azalea fertiliser down, to encourage the best and most healthy, new shoots.
