(20/30cm Pot Grown)

Azalea 'Geisha Orange' is a gorgeous, evergreen shrub with deep green leaves, and stunning, tubular shaped, dark orange flowers near the end of Spring. Find out more

'Geisha Orange' is the perfect specimen plant for any part of your garden, with its bright, vivid, orangey shades and lush green leaves. It's just what you need to top off your Spring/early Summer garden.

Azalea 'Geisha Orange' can reach an ultimate height and spread of 0.6m x 0.6m within 10 years.

It is best to plant Azalea 'Geisha Orange' in full sun or partial shade, and in moist, well-draining, acidic soil. Ensure you plant shallow, too- both in pots and the ground- as the roots are very short.

  • Growth rate: Slow (10-20cm per year)
  • Ideal height: 0.6m Small
  • Soil type: Clay, loam, sand
  • Exposure: Exposed, sheltered
  • Aspect: Full sun, semi-shade
  • Evergreen foliage? Yes

You should not need to prune your Azalea 'Geisha Orange' at all- you will only need to remove the spent flowers, and cut away any dead/diseased branches, where necessary. This must be done in late Spring when the flowering has finished.

Once you've finished pruning, place a bit of Rhododendron or Azalea fertiliser down to encourage the best and most healthy new shoots.
