The roots of Rhododendron 'Carol Allbrook' plants are particularly short, so never plant too deep.

You should not need to prune your Rhododendron 'Carol Allbrook' at all- you will only need to remove the spent flowers and cut away any dead/diseased branches, where necessary. This must be done in late Spring when the flowering has finished.

Once you've finished pruning, place a bit of Rhododendron/Azalea fertiliser down, to encourage the best and most healthy, new shoots.
