Rhododendron 'Golden Torch' can reach an ultimate height and spread of 1.5m x 1.5m within 10-20 years, when planted in best conditions.

It's always best to plant in well-draining, but moist and slightly acidic soil, and to place in light shade.

You should not need to prune your Rhododendron 'Golden Torch' at all- you will only need to remove the spent flowers, and cut away any dead/diseased branches, where necessary. This must be done in late Spring when the flowering has finished.

Once you've finished pruning, place a bit of Rhododendron or Azalea fertilizer down to encourage the best and most healthy, new shoots.
